Another favourite from my grandma.
  • 250 gr. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 250 gr. walnuts cut longitudinally
  • 150 gr. raisins
  • 3 ribs of cooking chocolate ( 100 gr. )
  • 2 table spoons of flour

  1. Mix egg yolks and sugar well ; add walnuts melted chocolate raisins and flour and mix thoroughly. At the end add whisked egg whites.
  2. Pour in the oiled baking pan and bake on medium temperature
  3. Cut in pieces only when completely cold
  4. Why is this called Russian fingers, beats me! However, I do remember these served at different family occasions, especially New Years
