Pumpkin Pie

Not only for Halloween but for every occasion, as a dessert or a snack, pumpkin pie is an easy and delicious pie for the whole family
  • 1 kg red pumpkin
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons fine semolina
  • A bit of fresh butter
  • 2-3 cinnamon sticks
  • 7 pastry filo for pie
  • 35×25 pan

  1. Peal the pumpkin and cut it in big pieces.
  2. Boil til softened, add the milk and the the cinnamon sticks. Once is melted add the butter and the semolina.
  3. Let it cool and add the eggs gently stiring the cream.
  4. Coat the pan with oil, then the pastry filo one by one, put half the cream, a filo
  5. then the other half and finish with the remaining pastry.
  6. Cut into pieces and bake at 200 degrees til golden and crunchy.
