Not only for Halloween but for every occasion, as a dessert or a snack, pumpkin pie is an easy and delicious pie for the whole family
Ingredients
- 1 kg red pumpkin
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 eggs
- 3 tablespoons fine semolina
- A bit of fresh butter
- 2-3 cinnamon sticks
- 7 pastry filo for pie
- 35×25 pan
Instructions
- Peal the pumpkin and cut it in big pieces.
- Boil til softened, add the milk and the the cinnamon sticks. Once is melted add the butter and the semolina.
- Let it cool and add the eggs gently stiring the cream.
- Coat the pan with oil, then the pastry filo one by one, put half the cream, a filo
- then the other half and finish with the remaining pastry.
- Cut into pieces and bake at 200 degrees til golden and crunchy.
