This unique Spanish recipe has turned out to be a worldwide favorite. It is a delicious starter that fuels the appetite, and can be served with lemon wedges along with a cold soda or bear.
Ingredients
  • Small Squid
  • Calamares (cuttle-fish)
  • Batter mix :-
  • Flour
  • Egg
  • Soda-water
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions
  1. Take the black skin off, and clean inside squid.
  2. Slice the calamares in rings or strips.
  3. Make a batter of flour, egg, soda-water, salt and pepper.
  4. Dip the calamares in the batter so that they are completely covered and deep fry in hot oil.
  5. If desired, serve with a dip sauce.
