The fried zucchini flowers are an appetizer tasty and easy to prepare. Once cleaned, zucchini flowers are dipped in batter and then fried in oil seed in a few minutes.   • 270 gr zucchini flowers
  • 185 gr of flour
  • 275 ml cold water
  • salt to your taste
  • abundant seeds oil

  1. Wash and clean well the flowers. Dip them gently in cold water then drain them and place them on a dry cloth by which buffer them gently. Try to keep intact their corolla: remove stem, open slightly with your fingers and pull the pistil. Prepare the batter: Put the flour in a large bowl, gradually add water, stirring with a whisk to avoid lumps. Once you have obtained a smooth mixture add the salt. Put on the fire to heat a large frying pan with plenty of oil seeds. Wrap gently dry flowers in the batter, one by one, be careful not to break them. Just after dip each flower in hot oil. When cooked, drain the fried zucchini flowers on a platter prepared with paper towels. Serve your fried zucchini flowers still hot!
