This recipe makes a thrilling means to enjoy grapefruits, either taken hot or chilled. Sprinkling sugar and also grilling minimizes the harshness of grapefruits, which makes them more enjoyable not to mention pleasant to consume.
  • 2 grape fruit
  • 4 teaspoon sweet cherry
  • Demerara Sugar

  1. Cut each grapefruit in half, remove core and loosen segments
  2. Separate edges of skin with a sharp knife
  3. Place the prepared halves in the grill rack
  4. Add 1 teaspoon sherry to each half and dust thickly with sugar
  5. Grill under a hot grill for 2-3 minutes
  6. Place cherry in the centre of each grape-fruit
  7. Serve hot or chilled
