Mama’s delicious apple pie

This is my mama’s delicious apple pie! The Best!
  • 125 gr butter.
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 4 apples on the dough and 4-5 for the decor
  • 5 medium eggs
  • 1 vanilla powder
  • 1 baikin powder
  • lots of cinnamon powder and optionally
  • 1 handful of chopped walnuts or hazelnuts

  1. Beat the eggs in a mixer for at least 7-10 minutes and add the sugar bit by bit.
  2. Put the butter in the form and then in the oven at 180 degrees to melt, meanwhile, cut the decorative apples into slices, sprinkle with lemon juice to avoid browning.
  3. Place and apple slices into the pan, sprinkle with cinnamon on the surface that does not touch the butter and let it cook for 5-10 minutes. (The time depends on the thickness of the apple).
  4. Wash and mash the apples for the filling, Toss with lots of cinnamon. Add to mixer little by little the flour, baikin powder and vanilla.
  5. Take out the pan from the oven and carefully throw ¾ of the dough and cover the apples over the bottom without spoiling the shape that you’ve given them.
  6. Add the apples and nuts filling, ending with the remaining dough. Bake at 180 degrees pan number 28 about ¾ for an hour or so as the toothpick comes out from the pie dry.
  7. Let it cool, turn it carefully upside down and decorate.
  8. Decorate as in the photo, with sweet cherry in center of apples, walnuts and fresh lemon juice, or let your imagination lead you to what materials you have at your disposal.
