I love mushrooms! Either cooked or raw in salads or… sweet and crunchy on top of cakes!!!… Here is a recipe that I love to make especially when I have guests
  • (For about 20 to 25 small mushrooms)
  • 2 egg whites
  • 120 gr caster sugar
  • A little cocoa powder
  • A bit of dark chocolate

  1. Preheat oven to 90 ° C
  2. Beat the egg whites until stiff, adding, from time to time the powdered sugar.
  3. Put it in a piping bag, which you will cut off the tips, and shape in a non stick baking paper carefully small mushrooms in two pieces, hats and feet.
  4. Lightly sprinkle the hats with cocoa powder.
  5. Cook the meringues for 1 hour.
  6. Once the meringues are cool, put them together with a little bit melted chocolate.
  7. Your mushroom meringues are ready to impress your guests!
