Pasta Flora is a Greek Jam Tart. Easy to prepare and delicious, great for morning snack or evening dessert!
  • 300 gr. flour
  • 300 gr. icing sugar
  • 300 gr. almond powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 250 gr. butter at room temperature
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 50 ml brandy
  • 150-200 gr. ]strawberry jam or any flavor you prefer

  1. Place all ingredients in blender], except the jam and mix with the wing until you have a homogeneous dough.
  2. Leave the dough for 1 hour in the fridge.
  3. Use a square hoop 25cm x 25cm and spread the dough 1cm thick. Spread strawberry jam and leave 1 cm around without jam. With the remaining dough mold sticks which the horizontally and vertically over the jam and around. If you want to do something different you may cut a few cookies and add them on the top of the jam instead of making a grid with the dough. Nice effect don’t you think?
  4. Bake at 160oC for 1 hour. Allow to cool and cut square pieces.
