A version of the Italian Classic Dish Spagetti Bolognese
  • 1 package of pasta No 6
  • a table spoonful butter
  • 250gr minced beef
  • 250gr minced pork
  • 150 gr fresh mushrooms
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of tomato puree
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • salt
  • sweet red pepper (paprika)
  • a pinch of cinnamon
  • Parmesan for serving.
  1. Chop the onion and garlic.
  2. In a deep saucepan saute onion in butter with garlic and mushrooms.
  3. Add minced meat, tomatoe sauce, and tomato puree.
  4. Stir and leave to boil over medium heat.
  5. Meanwhile boil the pasta with a pinch of salt and a little olive oil.
  6. Add salt to sauce, paprika (about a teaspoon) and a pinch of cinnamon. Let it boil a little longer.
  7. Once done both pasta and sauce, turn off the stove, drain the pasta in a colander and add butter.
  8. Serve with Parmesan cheese.
